Educator, Coach trainer, Supervisor and Facilitator
Karen has been an independent contractor with TA matters for the past 16 years. Learning, development and transformation are at the core of her expertise. She works as an educator, trainer, coach, coach trainer and coach supervisor and facilitator. She uses her skills in diverse places of ongoing learning from NGO’s. schools, colleges, public companies, academic departments and individuals.
Qualifications and certifications
Between 2005 and 2013 Karen worked for the Wellness Foundation designing and facilitating Care for Carers programs that were delivered across several provinces in South Africa to support community care workers in their challenging work. The following articles describe this work:

Karen runs training groups in TA for beginners, to practitioner qualification level, and trainer and supervisor level. She has thriving online training groups spread between Africa, India, the UK, Indonesia and Poland. She is on the training staff of an international coaching company, Coaching Development Ltd.
She holds the pro-bono position as Chairperson of the South African Transactional Analysis Association (SATAA). She regularly examines in international exam centres
From July 2020 she holds the role of Co-Chair of the Professional Standards Committe (PSC) of the International Board of Certification (IBOC)
